Paris l'Amour

Before I even knew I was going to start a Master in London last September. Me and my boyfriend bought two tickets to watch a friendly rugby game between France and New Zealand in Paris.

It would have been my first time in Paris since when I was 4 and going with my French boyfriend was making this experience even more special.

Not many people go to Paris with their boyfriend to watch a rugby game but it was just an excuse to take a trip and it fully fit in our meeting plan since we were living in different countries.

I got to see the best monuments and on top of it, kiss my boyfriend under the tour Eiffel, watch my first rugby game, be for the first time in a big stadium, watch the All Blacks playing amazingly and performing the Haka.


What I totally loved of Paris is summarized in a few pictures but feelings were much bigger than what pictures can describe.

My master experience in London was coming to an end and to celebrate this big day, part of the family flew to London from Alghero, Italy. Me and my boyfriend got there from Frankfurt and his family from Nancy, France. La città eterna - Rome

Rome, our Christmas gift! My mom keeps saying there aren’t traditional gifts anymore. It is true, the gifts me and my boyfriend exchange are normally in somehow “experiences”. A ticket to a water park, a trip to a new city, the ticket to a musical. Our Christmas gift was something we both enjoyed. One weekend in Rome, we went to Paris in November and since I am Italian I was more than happy to show Rome in January to my special one. Going with him to Rome led me see the city in a different light, much more romantic than the tipical museums and monuments trip. I discovered my boyfriend a person who’s incredibly interested in art and history. We had amazing time, great food, great weather (20° Celsius) and amazing sunsets. The best mix for a quick catch-up of our long-distance relationship, it was one of our planned trips to make the separations easier and it definitely worked. How to be a broke student in London

London is for definition an expensive city! This said, all your money will go to your rent and the public transportation, so I will tell now how I live well in London even being most of the time broke. EATING Lunch Of course eating at home of cooking and bringing your food to school is always the cheapest idea, but if you are a student, most of the time you have no time for cooking, so I normally take the meal deal from the supermarket (there is one near my university) which normally includes one sandwich or salad, plus a snack (I like to take fruit or carrots but you can even find chips and cookies) and a drink, from juice to water, to coke. For about £ 3,00 My other best option is Subway, for a bit more than £ 3,00 I can get half sub and I get water and drinks in school, or I buy some fruit and take one piece every day in my bag.
