My home? Europe!

I already talked about my story in this blog…
I am from Sardinia, Italy; I lived in Frankfurt Germany for one year and a half and I am now taking a master in London. Plus I will move back to Frankfurt once the Master will be over.

It is now break from University between one module and the other, this means I am supposed to be home, but where is home? Is my home my native county? Is my home where all my stuff is? Is my home where I currently have a doctor?

These are the questions that for people like me who travel a lot are coming up very frequently.
What are the signs of someone living in more countries at the same time?

#1 You have more SIM cards.

When on the plane they first think you do once landed is to change your SIM card and use the local phone number.

This also mean that whenever someone asks you your phone number you just say: well just look for me on facebook messenger.

#2 What’s your address?

This problem just came to me when ordering something on Amazon. I ordered a sleeping bag for a short trip to take next weekend. I realized that I had 3 addresses registered there and 3 credit cards. One per country I am living in.

I picked the right one I hope!

#3 University Break = Home! But where?

My university is in London, which means that when there are breaks I have 2 choices… One is to go to visit my family in Italy and one is to visit my boyfriend in Germany

It is not very nice to make that choice

#4 Everything is Everywhere

More than moving my stuff back and forth, I keep leaving some jeans in London some in Frankfurt, in Italy I have most of my summer clothes and dresses…

I currently have one toothbrush, one deodorant, one eyeliner, one mascara, one foundation tube and many other little things at each place. So, I won’t have to bring everything in my bag every time and I will not risk ending up with no PJ for the night for clean teeth for the day.

#5 I’m back!!

This is the most common sentence I tell everyone, wherever I am I have friends, family of loved ones happy to welcome me back every single time.

Visiting everyone is a pleasure and definitely a nice change to celebrate with a drink and nice food.

What have you noticed living in your life when living in different places at the same time? Let me know in your comments!
