My short story

I lived most of my life in Alghero, Sardinia, Italy!
Yes, an island in the middle of the Mediterranean. It is super cool and living 3 minutes walking from the sea definitely made my childhood special.

Travelling has always been inside me and my first big trip was in the US during an exchange program of one year. During this time, I lived in 2 different American families (it was required from the program to change family) and travel all over the US in one month bus road trip.
The big challenging trip is the one that has been keeping me outside of home for more than 2 years already and it seems not bringing me back.

I went to Germany, in Frankfurt as an Au-Pair pushed to learn a new language, discover a new culture and meet new people. When my Au-Pair time was over, I decided to stay to improve the little German I learned. I found a job in an Italian café and with ups and downs I earned enough money to live on my own just doing German courses. In the end of my German classes I found a job as assistant manager in a luxury man shoes boutique.

One day during my lunch bread I received a phone call. It was a prestigious international business school offering me a scholarship to attend their master in international business (MIB) in London for one year!
The only thing to do was to pack and leave Frankfurt!
One thing was stopping me..
During my Au-Pair job I met a French guy who became first more than a friend and then I started to more than like him, and by the beginning of my job in the luxury shop we were living together..
This is just a small introduction of myself, my story, my long-distance relationship for now 8 months.

I will tell how we are happily making it through
