London with the Family

My master experience in London was coming to an end and to celebrate this big day, part of the family flew to London from Alghero, Italy. Me and my boyfriend got there from Frankfurt and his family from Nancy, France.

It was a weekend to organize with the most various group of people you could imagine.

1.       Grandpa, 88 years old
2.       Cousins 16 and 17
3.       Sister 24 years old
4.       Aunt 50 years old
5.       Boyfriend parents around 50s
6.       Me and my boyfriend

Everyone had their expectations, everyone had their limits and everyone had their “OMG I don’t wanna go there” moments.

This was our itinerary

Day 1

Arrivals Day!

Everyone arrived in different timing, but everyone arrived by dinner time
Check in in the Airbnb and dinner with some of my closest friends I made during the master and their parents. Grandpa had a great experience with London pizza and everyone was happy.

Day 2

Graduation Day!

Everyone manage to enter the venue and arrive on time for the ceremony, beside my boyfriend no one understood a word but everyone was incredibly proud and emotional.
Around 4 the graduation ceremony was over and we could enjoy some pictures in Westminster and some sightseeing. We met other cousins who live in London and went to an amazing dinner based on Brazilian meat and salad buffet.

Day 3

Let’s visit London!

Morning

Visit to Piccadilly circus, regent’s street, Oxford street and Carnaby street. Some window shopping and the divided in 2 groups.

The little cousins and my aunt went to see the London museums of science and natural history, me and the rest went to borrow market ad Greenwich.

The kids got super tired at the museum, but grandpa had no problem to climb Greenwich hill. I guess there is too much couch for the little ones hahaha.

Evening

We came back as one group in front of Buckingham palace, walked around, took pictures of the guards and enjoyed out time together.

Dinner in an English pub

Day 3

Let’s discover London

Walk to regent’s park through the canals, viewing a different side of London. Played around with the birds there and took a little boat ride in the lake.

Lunch in a fast food, and head to King’s Cross Station where it was incredibly important to have a Harry Potter experience.

Evening at china town trying the fishcakes and Chinese sweets. Visit to Leicester square with its M&M’s store, Lego and street artists. It was a bless for everyone and a relaxing day for all

Dinner with my “London” cousins at a pizzeria and ready to say goodbye to London

Day 4

Departures and Arrivals at everyone’s destinations

This was our family trip that in somehow happened to be teenagers friendly and grandpa friendly as well.

What is the biggest family trip you organized? How did you manage to make everyone HAPPY?
